Chinese Whisperings welcomes the first of our new writers, Carrie Clevenger, to what was dubbed recently ‘The CW Family.’ Carrie is the second writer in The Yin Book.
Initially an avid non-fiction reader and occasional poet, Carrie discovered the power of the Storyteller when she first happened upon the horror/thriller genre. These books became kindling to a whole new passion. She says she didn’t start the fire; she just brought the gasoline.
When asked why she said yes to the invitation to become a part of Chinese Whisperings, Carrie had this to say:
I accepted the offer to collaborate because I find Chinese Whisperings a very attractive and prestigious project to be published in. I first learned of the project on Twitter – the avatar caught my eye. I clicked on the website and was greeted with my favorite color–red, and was hooked on the idea of a collaborative group actually publishing what I’ve always considered a very fun game.
Here’s a secret: When Paul contacted me, it was exactly what I was secretly wanting to do. Needless to say, he didn’t have to twist my arm!

Tomorrow, the first of our new male writers, Chris Chartrand, steps in from the wings.
Chinese Whisperings invites you to kick back with your favourite beverage and Take Five with Edmonton based Tina Hunter, author of Innocence.
