Chinese Whisperings is delighted to introduce Claudia Osmond, one of our earliest supporters when we launched The Red Book, and the fourth writer in The Yin Book.
With influences as diverse as Dr Seuss and Charles Dickens, Claudia’s work combines the magic of fantasy with real-life protagonists. She believes there is more to this world than the eye can see, and Claudia certainly saw the potential in the Chinese Whisperings project when she said yes to taking part in the 2010 anthology.
I’m excited with the idea of being part of a collaborative project. And not only that, I love the idea of continuing the story through the POV of a secondary character. It’s a concept I’ve used myself, but I think it will be even more interesting taking on the point of view of a character that someone else has created. I also followed the journey of The Red Book throughout the course of 2009 and was thrilled at the invitation to be part of the 2010 project.
Read Claudia’s full bio and enjoy more of her writing at Claudia in Real Life.
Claudia’s first novel, Smudge’s Mark, is available now.
Tomorrow we introduce Chris Chartrand to the world.
