This weekend ushers in a new Chinese Year.
A growing number of writers here at Chinese Whisperings are running their creative years by the Chinese (lunar) calendar – so there are many good-byes and hellos happening, 2010 goals and business plans being set in concrete and all the other fun and frivolity of a second New Years Eve in less than six weeks.
For us, we’re migrating the site to a chic new look this weekend, so please bear with us if things go a little wonky or inevitably with all moves, things go missing. A big thank you to the wonderful Dale Challener Roe for first broaching the idea of a new website then investing so much creative time and energy into getting the best fit (and best look). We continue to count our lucky stars for your presence and committment to Chinese Whisperings.
While the renovations are happening, the Chinese Whisperings fan page is holding a virtual kick off party on an orbiting space station. Drop in and leave a message on the wall, interact with the craziness which is bound to transpire or take a photo to add to our growing number of space cadets and intergalatic loons.
On Monday we will begin introducing our 2010 line up – starting off with Emma Newman, Paul Servini, Carrie Clevenger, Chris Chartrand and Tina Hunter.
Until then… Happy New Year.. the exciting year of the White Tiger.
