Icy Sedgwick has been writing for as long as she can remember, from short tales scrawled with wax crayons to longer work bashed out on her mother’s old typewriter to full-blown short stories submitted to a creative writing nightclass.

Aged 16, she finally decided being a writer was something she definitely wanted to do, and in the ten years since that decision, she’s written various short stories and works of flash fiction. Some of these have been published online, some of them haven’t. Some of them will probably never see the light of day.

Thanks to 2008′s NaNoWriMo competition, she also finished her first book, a supernatural middle grade novel which she’s currently redrafting.
